I almost saw Santa this Christmas.

I tried to wait up and get a glimpse of the man
in the red suit and his flying reindeers.

I looked out the window for him.
I even waited by the stairs.
But I fell asleep waiting.

When I woke up,this Christmas rubber ball
was placed by my paws.

I gave it to my master and she said,
"It was a gift from Santa."
