Please take note that the above amount along with any additional charges that may accrue are now and have been in dispute for over one year as follows:

• I was originaly notified by the fraud department at FLEET, the original issuer of the credit card of possible fraudulent activity over a year ago.
  
• The matter was investigated and it was determined to be fraud.
  
• I signed affidavits and the matter was settled
  
• Further fraudulent charges appeared on my card and I notified the fraud department at FLEET. This matter was further investigated and was again determined to be fraud.
  
• I again signed affidavits and was again told the matter was settled.
  
• After BANK OF AMERICA acquired FLEET I was issued a new card that I have never used, again I received a statement for the past disputed amount.
  
• After notifing the fraud departmentment at BANK OF AMERICA I was told that they had investigated my account and that they had located both the affidavits that I had signed as well as the complete history of the fraud. I was told that everything was fine and that it would take time for the information to "catch-up" and that this will not appear on any credit report!! .
  

I called again today and was told that FLEET BANK left BANK OF AMERICA with a "cumputor mess" and for me to wait five days for someone from the fruad department to return my call. As a rusult my credit has been affected. For the first time in my life I have been refused credit. I was assured by the customer service that the matter will be cleared up and my credit will be restored.
