A powerful word

we all have heard

is the one called "Mother".

In every language it's understood

as a force unlike any other.

 

 

'Cause it brings from each

heart a different emotion

such as sorrow with loss

or joy from devotion.

 

 

It carries the weight of

the world in it's hand

while it reaches to

nurture across any land.

 

 

This hand that also stretches out

to dole a sometimes needed clout

will comfort you in times of strife

and teach to guide you

throughout life.

 

 

It's sharing these qualities

of love with each other

that bring out the true

meaning of the word

  ¶\/¶ Ø † H E ¶R.
