Jurong Bird Park

One item on my must visit list was the Jurong Bird Park. So one day I whipped out my EZlink card, boarded the MRT and took off for a day of bird watching. By the way, if you haven't yet done so, you can read all about that card on the chapter on MRT. The train dropped me off at a very well organized bus terminal. I lined up by the sign for bus #194 which would take me to the birds. Unfortunately it was not a doubledecker as I had hoped. After an interesting ride through one of Singapores many suburbs it dropped me off at the entrance to the Park From there it was a short walk to the ticket office and what lay beyond.
