The Singapore Zoo |
![]() Once at the Zoo the entertainment started already, before entering the park. Tiny squirrels darted through the trees and bushes and I mean tiny. Would you believe 8 inches from nose to a short stubby tail? It was almost impossible to catch one sitting still long enough to take a picture.
You could call them "hummingsquirrels" only they did not hoover in the air like those little birds. Also there were several bronze animal sculptures outside. I liked the elephants, so as a true tourist I had to take a picture with them.
My Singapore Airline Boardingpass gave me a reduction on the entry as well as a free pass on the tram that traversed the Zoo, thus saving me time and energy. Visting the Zoo by foot would have reduced me to a soaking rag in no time. Now, take a swig of water to prevent dehydration and follow me to the next page....... |
