First of all, what one needs is a ticket. Here I am showing a number that I drew from a small automat. That yellow contraption in front of me. On the wall behind the ticket counter are screens that show you when your number is up and what window is available. Very organized and orderly. No long lines in front of any one window where the one you are in is always the longest and slowest! Once it was my turn, it did not take long to purchase the tickets and head for the platforms, where I found my train on track 12. And there it was, snabbtåget to Malmö, with among other stops, Varberg. A half hour trip.

The ride was unbelievingly smooth and noiseless. I had a windowseat, the only way I could experience the high speed of this train, by watching poles and bushes next to the track fly past in a blur.
