Form the parking lot to the red square one has to walk up a few steps and next to those steps stands a miniature replica of Schloss Vaduz ( Vaduz Castle ), the residence of the ruling family. The real buiding sits high up a mountain side. When the Prince is home the flag of Liechtenstein is hoisted. The flag looks like this: 
NO, the statue behind the flag is NOT a replica of the Prince...... but then again, maybe it is, it was too early to advertise for the Nutcracker ballet during Christmas and the country, after all, is a principality.... |
