At the foot of Mt. Titlis lies the small town of Engelberg. From there it takes about 45 minutes to reach the summit of the mountain.
The trip to the top begins in a small gondola which seats four, next comes a bigger car with no seats and the trip ends with a ride in a rotating gondola, the Rotair, which also offers standing room only.

This is a view of Engelberg from the first gondola. Sorry for any smudges on this and following photos, the windows of the gondolas were a bit scratched.
