Another town, my brother and I visited was Veere, the townhall of which you see on the right. It is a very picturesque place, about 4 miles North of Middelburg.
Entering Veere. When you look close, you will see on the right a European traffic sign, warning one, that the street narrows ahead. Then, further down the street, there are two traffic islands, one on each side, marked by a red and white striped post, effectively narrowing it down to one lane, so that only one car can get through. Besides big speed bumps, this is another way, how in the Netherlands they try to slow down traffic. Then, in the background, somewhat to the left of center, is the tower of the Grote Kerk (Large Church) of Veere.
