~Lifes Simple Pleasures~

Snow topped Mountains
Babbling brooks
Waves on the shoreline
Enhancing books.

A Child sleeping
A tender touch
A spontaneous smile
A full China hutch.

Roads made of dirt
Porch swings blowing
Innocent laughter
Fireflies Glowing.

Springtime flowers
A bright harvest moon
a spark of shyness
When love enters the room.

Cool summer breezes
Freshness of youth
Redwoods untouched
The spirit of truth.

A child growing inside
A fast flowing river
Grandpa and Grandma together
A flower delivered.

An animals love
The touch of a friend
A home cooked meal
A love that won't end.

A hard to find person
Anything unique
A touch of trust
A rare antique.

A precious moment
A slow paced life
A white tail deer prancing
A contented wife.

Intricate artwork
A heart reaching tune
The birth of a baby
The sound of a loon.

These are the things
That money can't buy
The small simple treasures
That most have passed by.
