Honda Eu2200i Inverter Generator


NOTE: Crankcase holds 14 oz. of 10W-30 oil

STARTING GENERATOR:
1. Set the Eco Throttle to OFF.



2. Turn the fuel tank cap vent lever to its ON position (Vent open).


NOTE: Engine will not run unless fuel cap vent lever is in the ON position.
3. Slide the choke lever to its CLOSED position.

4. Turn the Engine Switch ON.

5. Pull the starter rope grip handle repeatedly until the generator starts. Do not allow the Starter Grip to snap back against the generator. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.

6. As the engine warms up, gradually slide the choke lever left to its OPEN position.

7. After the engine has warmed up for two or three minutes, set the EcoThrottle switch to ON.



8. Turn Generator Input disconnect switch ON. Generator Input disconnect switch is located on brick wall.


STOPPING GENERATOR:

1. Unplug all extension cords and appliances from generator, or if using at home simply turn Generator Input disconnect switch OFF.
2. Turn Engine Switch to OFF position, or if you wish to empty fuel lines, turn Switch to FUEL OFF position. When Engine runs out of gas and shuts down, then turn Switch to the OFF position.


3. When engine has cooled down, turn the fuel tank cap vent lever to its OFF position (Vent shut).

NOTE: Always store, move and operate generator in its upright position. Never lay the generator on its side.
