I want to encourage you to "adopt" and not shop, if you are wanting to add a new dog, puppy, cat or kitten to your family. There are many wonderful animals at your local shelters. Many have great personalities, but will be euthenized, if someone doesn't take them home. This is our latest addition to our family... Toby ... He was a stray that was picked up by the animal control officer. The vet said he was about 2-3 months old at the time and is now about 7-8 months old. He looks like a soft coated "Wheaton Terrier". His hair doesn't come out when you pet him. A dog book I read put it good, with long hair dogs you find hair balls in the corner and with short hair dogs, you find hair everywhere. He has a wonderful personality. Loves the children in the family. Was housebroke very fast and is a great dog. What a waste it would have been if he would have been euthenized. Yes, they do that to puppies when they are overcrowded. You never know what you will find at your local shelters. Give a shelter animal a chance and save a life.
I am completely against PUPPY MILLS. Many of their animals are sold to indviduals and pet stores. If you haven't seen or heard about "puppy mills", then view the websites I have here. You are helping put them out of business, when you don't buy from the places that sell their puppies.
