I see that mother earth will soon,
Wear a snowy bonnet on her head.
Fall shook the trees and leaves so bright;
Came tumbling down, all orange and red.

They dance across the grass, still green.
They swirl and twirl, then dance away;
Like children on a recess ground,
All sizes, colors, shapes at play.

On touching ground leaves soon will die.
Reminding us that seasons go.
Just as our life will someday end
Like leaves of time, we'll fade you know.

Soon snowflakes fall and cover earth;
A blanket, only God can sew,
Just as He wraps us in His arms
And cleanses us as white as snow.

Spring will arrive. It won't be long.
We'll see the budding of each tree.
And flowers poke their little heads,
Up from the ground, so we can see.....

His hands bring earth alive again.
Life's Miracles are His alone.
His handiwork will ne'er be done,
Until He comes to claim His own.
