This
is the giant tortoise for which the Galapagos is so
famous.Galapagos means tortoise in Spanish.
This is a California Fur Seal and
a Blue-Footed Boobie.
This is an example of the number of
sea lions that covered every beach we visited. Please note
the person walking near them. That show how tame all the
animals and birds are here, you have to walk around
them!
These are
Marine Iguanas - the only amphibious Iguanas in the world
which is an example of evolution so evident on these
islands where Darwin spent so much time to come up with his
theory.
This is a
Red-Footed Boobie.
This
is a Magnificent Frigate Bird.
This is an Osprey on its nest.
This is a Masked
Boobie.
