Why, oh why did I decide to
take off my long sleeve shirt and unzip the legs of my zippies? These
are just a few of the hundreds of noseeum bites I got

My savior,
Juan who we also picked up along the road. He came and helped me walk
down to the vehicle when I took my fall (see travelogue for this most
exciting story).

Vittorio, a Tarahumara indian. He won the Bolder
Boulder race, running in sandles with rubber tire soles (as all the
Tarahumara runners wear). He also did a native rain dance and hunting
dance for us.
Dave
wanted one of the straw cowboy hats worn by most of the men throughout
the area. I found this one in a gift shop and had to buy it for him.
Could you ask for a more perfect wife?
My buddy, Pancho Villa. He
stayed on my shoulder for hours (even in the bathroom).
