The Patapsco State Park is just five miles from our house.
From an overlook there, Nancy took a photograph of the valley
in the autumn of 1997, then made this quilt in 2004.
This was a gift to our friend Akiko in Japan,
an autumn quilt for a lady whose name means Autumn Child.
