This was from an FCQ class on Fantasy Fish/Fantasy Flowers.
It was meant to be hand applique, but I used fused applique with machine stitching.
It was so much fun that eventually I made four or five more.
Darrel and Mary now have this one as their wedding gift, chosen from three wallhangings.
