This was one of Nancy's first quilts, designed and made for a co-worker's baby daughter. Being new to quilting, she felt she had to use all solids for this applique. It was hard to find all the colors: light blue, green, and pink; and maroon and brown. Besides outlining the butterfly, the quilting was basically Erin's name, done by hand.
