Raffle Quilt for Faithful Circle Quilters.
This was my first experience with a raffle quilt committee.
With some help finding pictures of the main features,
I designed all the applique and made up the kits.
Members donated most of the blue fabrics.
We took this photo from an upstairs balcony (before we had quilted this beauty)
at the home of the member who sewed the blocks into a top.
Its value was assessed at $5,000 (a LOT for a quilt at the time), and
it later won first prize at a "Beautiful Maryland" quilt contest at the State House.
