Lynda Brugge suggested we make Jim a quilt as a housewarming gift. She asked him what colors he had in his living room, and we settled on brown with blue. Lynda, Aurelia, Beth, and Nancy each made three blocks, and Nancy assembled, bound, and quilted this gift. Beth's Penguin block is for Jim's Pittsburg team. Her fancy circle at lower left is for a famous building in P. Aurelia's Concorde block (bottom middle) is for Jim's travels. Nancy, who who was well into her bargello phase, used this idea at bottom right.
