"Roy's Oriental Tour," 2008

I taught an FCQ class in bargello quilting a few years ago.
Amy, working with gorgeous Oriental fabrics, wasn't satisfied with her piece
because it skewed, so she gave it to me to "do what you want with it."
Recently, I cut it into 6.5" blocks and made a wallhanging for son Roy's birthday.
The exciting border fabric was from an art quilt fabric shop I visited on a Quilt Quest tour
with Sew & Tell friends. The name comes from Roy's work in China.
Thanks, Amy!
