Also, under production with Xlibris Publishing is "Up My Tree~ Poetry reaching skyward" I am even more excited about this book because it includes 35 color illustrations of my own creation. The next book is a children's book entitled Snowman Snooze which is dedicated to my 2 young grandsons.
I enjoy reading and writing all types of poetry: free verse, rhymed,shaped, Haiku, swap quatrain, Nonets, Etheree,quatern, Doditsu, and Rictameter, acrostic, challenges. My appreciation for writing is for poetry that touches a reader emotionally. My strength in writing is imagery. Love, romance,sensuality and fantasy are found in my work.Usually the tone is gentle, softness. The sea is my favorite setting. Also nature finds its way into my verses. Being a very private person, I choose to keep my personal life to myself. But I enjoy sharing my creativity. When opening this poetry site, I originally attempted to have a page for guest posting of poetry, but the coding never worked out.
