This mother/daughter relationship is quite new at working as a team!
With several years of estrangement behind them, they are
glad to share their feelings with the readers. As quite an
interesting way of reconnecting through an on-line site
that posted art and poetry, these two poets collaborated
their efforts and coauthored a book! Sue, mother and nurse
unaware of any of the traumatic events going on 800 miles
away in Pa was able to key in on Wendi's posted page and
get in touch with her after years of separation!
"I was amazed that she also wrote poetry as I had been doing.
It was a lifeline that we both clung to that led us back to
a healthy relationship that we both cherish more than ever now.
ahhh-sigh to happy endings...
But it is only a beginning!
Wendi Marina Klein grew up in a small town in Illinois
(Midwest USA). As an only child with an exceptional
intelligence, she excelled in music and voice. Wendi
attended Millikin School of Music in the honors program
while pursuing a music career with a vocal emphasis.
She soon transferred to York College of Pennsylvania
where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her music
career, Wendi has written, directed, produced and
choreographed several stage productions, including voice
and piano recitals. She has taught private lessons in her studio.
Wendi began writing as a creative outlet while going through
some turbulent times. Recently inspired by time spent in Wales,
she continues to write poetry. Presently, she is living with her 2 boys, Ethan and Mark in York, Pa, where she enjoys photography,
a variety of music, gardening and nature.
As for the mom side of the coin, SMKlein-pretty much an open book.
Nestled snugly in career of nursing and slow-paced life
in the Midwest, she dabbles in painting and digital art
but nothing compares to her love of poetry!
