Upon Citrus Hill Lane
I once visited this fragrant drive
Where all the blossoms came alive
Invited by this enticing street
Attractive man was there to meet
The drive was lined with full green trees
And I was taken to my knees
For on the bench that I could see
He waited with a book for me
I stopped the car and opened wide
The look of love could never hide
He scratched his head in such surprise
Traveled so far to see blue eyes
The book untitled on his lap
I found my way from love’s guidemap
He wasn’t sure just what to do
Until my arms around him flew
Citrus Hill Lane was paved so soft
And kissed with dreams that blew aloft
The book of poetry now named
As fantasy encounter’s claimed
Thank you for stopping by!
