This is a poem that I wrote for my beloved Wife two years before her death in November, 1995. I was reluctant to put this here because of its personal nature. Because my darling wife was such a caring and sharing person I believe that she would want to share her poem with you. For that reason I too, would like to share this poem I wrote for her with you.

Listen, do you hear?
My heart is whispering
to yours my Dear.

Whispering a message
of re-dedication and faithfulness,
and thanking the one I so adore.

Remember Dear? the opening,
as we walked through our first door.
Entering with love on a path unknown
and filled with more than one detour.

Oh! how magnificent our journey
has been, though we traveled unsure,
not knowing which paths would lead
us to our place in the sun.
But darling, as seasoned travelers we have emerged as one.

Now continuing hand in hand, heart to heart,
our path leads us on, leaving behind
those bitter tears, and unfounded fears.

With renewed faith and the strength
of our combined love, who knows
how far we can go, for there really
is no end you know.

An eternity of love with you sweetheart
is but one grain of sand through
the hourglass of life.

Thank you my darling, for being my wife.
