There are times when each of us questions our existence. This is especially true immediately following a personal tragedy. This poem explores that quest, and settles on "Life's Way"

          LIFE'S WAY

If only I could glimpse above the clouds,
as they roll and tumble by,
showing their different shapes and shades of gray
          to the somber eye.

Yet, I wonder what the search would reveal.
Does a warm and blue sky of silence afford an appeal?

Or would I miss the peaks and valleys of "Life's" chaotic way,
          and sacrifice the emotional gamut,
          of life day to day.

Though, through saddened eyes I do see,
I believe that "Life's" great design is best for me.
