We all have friends, but how many of us have that one "Special Forever Friend"?

            The one friend that stands alone, head and shoulders above all others that we call friends. That one Pal, Buddy, Chum, forever and ever friend. The one person that you can share your daily life with other than family or spouse. One person you can count on and that counts on you, whom you willingly share your deepest feelings with. A person who has felt your pain as you have felt theirs, and serves as confidant or comforter when you need it most.

            If you are indeed fortunate enough to have that one special forever friend, than feel blessed and hold them so very close to your heart.




            THANK YOU MY FRIEND



            Reading others' shallow words of praise, leaves my heart empty these days. Flowery speeches with kudo's galore only serve to shut my hearts door.

            How dare they, that take aim, they, that eliminate the pain from whence friendship came. Oh I love and adore, but friendship is so much more.

            So dear friend I want to thank you: For sharing the pain, the tears you shed on my behalf, the failures endured by you and I.

            A triumph away, but not the day, when together we wept, pooling our strength that saw us through.

            Thank you for keeping my secrets and sharing embarrasments for which I was to blame. Thank you for putting yourself on the line and sharing the pain.

            We know that each is there for the other, whatever will befall. That, my friend is friendship, and I know you always give your all.

            If the worse should come you can know, I'll be there friend, to soften life's blow.

            Thank you my friend for being there, but most of all, thank you my friend for letting me share.
