This piece was written for all of you who would like to express yourselves using the the power of the pen, but are a little reluctant to do so for fear you have nothing to say, or, that what you write will be viewed negatively.

I say to you, go for it. Any expression, or life experience has worth, and is worthy of sharing.
Each of us is unique and individualistic, why not share and learn from each other?

PAINT ME A PICTURE

Paint me a picture not with brushed color on canvas so vivid and bright,
but with pen on paper, full, with emotional invite.
Paint the picture with words that move the soul,
that brings laughter, or causes tears to flow,
that tells a story of loves and lives, of human experiences,
of mistresses and wives.
Pen to paper your memories so time won't erase
those mental images shared, for all to embrace.
Paint the picture so all who read, can feel the mood,
can know the need.
Oh, how precious those moments are, frozen in time
that each of us feels so sublime.
Share those priceless memories. Espouse on paper your fathomless devotion,
painting the picture with truthful emotion.
