The dragon Drac had been a failure until he met Dawayne the jack and master of no trades. The two of them were an unbeatable team.

They traveled from village to village and were quite successful. Drac would put on his fierce dragon act complete with red eyes, flaring nostrils, fire breathing, and growling that made the earth tremble.

Dawayne had achieved acclaim as a dragon slayer and as he happened to be at the right place at the right time, the villagers would offer him money and anything else they could muster up to kill the fierce dragon. The two of them put on a fantastic show and as always Drac ended up "slain" by the huge sword of Gawayne.

Then they came to a village with a pretty lass that Dawayne lost his heart to. The lass had a son who was dying and needed a heart.

Drac did the bravest thing he'd ever done and gave half his heart to the young lad. The lass and the villagers were ecstatic, Dawayne married the lass and Drac spent his days lolling in the surrounding mountains.

The young boy became known as Dragonheart and grew up to be a brave knight. The moral of this story is there's always good in every dragon's heart.
