... This isn't hard to understand or do.. it's basic consideration of others and how you use their email address... the first thing to think about is ..if you enjoy recieving many emails don't assume everyone else does too... I've been on the net for nearly 5 years and I don't know what it is with people but complete strangers take it upon their self to suddenly start emailing me sites they find on the net and include me in their long list of emails... at first they email me and tell me how much they like my stuff (not all but most) but soon after the mass mailings start.. PLEASE PLEASE do NOT do this! (some people even just go right into the mass mailings and I've never even heard of these people or reconise the email address) and when I ask people to politely stop, some suddenly come to the conclusion that I now must be a miserable person leading a miserable life (all of a sudden imagine that)... I try to be as nice as possible to people about it but it's just not enough... they take offense and get rude... I'm sorry but I have more important things to do then to read emails all day... some people like allot of email but I'm NOT one of them... I don't have the time.. this is a page to explain why I do NOT like mass mailings and why I don't appreciate someone emailing me their website or their updated website (unless I've specifically asked you to)... also I'm tired of being slandered and/or harassed after I politely ask these people to remove me from their mass mailing lists!... I don't understand why people feel the need to do this but they do... I'm tired of it!... I'm a busy person.. while I'm online updating my pages or creating new ones and I recieve an email, I immediately go check it to see if it's someone asking for help or if someone has a question... I've stopped counting at 97 pages I've made on the net so you can imagine the questions, comments, complaints and suggestions I get... this is the number ONE reason I don't like mass mailings... I run a newsgroup, have two topsites lists, and have all those pages to keep up with and of course my family to take care of... I do NOT forward emails to ANYONE... I'm NOT interested in PC virus warnings, email hoaxes, chain letters, greeting pages, or any other health risk, money making schemes you happen to believe in... I turn in ALL spam and take full advantage of the proper procedures for online harassment... ALL vulgar, rude and harassing emails are forwarded to the proper places!... recieving a single email from someone does NOT give you an open invitation to add them to a mass mailing list furthermore; a guestbook entry is NOT an open invitation to add someone to your mass mailing list nor is it an invitation to pitch your new site or updates by way of email... that's called SPAM and if you read your webhosts TOS you will see that you can get your site deleted for doing this... I will show you the same respect you show me... if you decide on showing me none then that's exactly what you will get... I get online for enjoyment not to deal with a mass amount of emails and especially from people I don't even know... besides... the least people could do is ask before they start sending.. :-(

.. PLEASE do NOT let this stop you from asking me a question or stop you from asking me for help! those are the emails I DON'T MIND AT ALL! One on one emails from people are welcome :-)) I'm an easy person to get along with, I've just had all I'm gonna take of those inconsiderate people in the world.
