This is where the retired Mayor of Wholesome Valley lives. Her name is Trudy. She enjoys having company visit and sit around drinking tea or coffee discussing the events of the day and watching the birds and squirrels playing around the house.

Chickie, supplier of eggs to the WV Mercantile, lives in this farm house about a mile out of town.



If you look real close to the right of the house you will see her barn where she keeps her horses and chickens. Here is a close up picture of her barn and chicken shanty.



Here is Chickie's kitchen where she loves to cook in the fireplace on a cold, cold day.



Sometimes on a very cold day, she puts the baby chicks in a box and sets the box in front of the fire to keep the lil darlin's warm. Real cozy.
