The bakery is also on the south side of the square. It's presently in need of a new owner, so if anyone is experienced in the bakery business, here is your opportunity.

Next to the bakery is the Coffee Cup Cafe that Granny Pat was managing.

Now since Granny is so busy running the Inn, she has turned the building on the square over to George who will show his menus and recipes. He has named his cafe "George's Corner". Click here to go to his menu page.

The whole east side of the square was set aside for the ice cream parlor. Darci is the proud owner of the parlor and invites the residents of WV to come by and sample her delicious frozen treats.

Now I know that all the residents of this fair town are looking forward to seeing the menus of these fine establishments posted here in the future. I'm sure that the dance students at dance studio will enjoy getting their gastronomic delights at one or all of the eateries. Old Slick Sammy himself, from the real estate office, with his big pot belly, will be waddling in sampling these delights.

Here is a newcomer to the Town who has set up shop to give signature help to the residents. Picks can be found here.

We also are fortunate that we have the following place to go to for help on our html's. Sonny is always here, ready to help anyone who needs it.

Now a town is not a town unless there is a mercantile handy to get our supplies.

Happy Lady Pat is the owner of this quaint store and during the winter she keeps a pot belly stove hot for her customers to come in and warm up.

The buildings were built in the early 1900's and has had numerous occupants. The entrance to the store is to the left. A hole was knocked in the wall between the left and middle building so that the store could expand. The front door to the middle building was walled up and soda machines were set up in front.
Here is a description of the store inside as told by a customer, Joni:
"When I walk in to your store I see the pot bellied stove with a pot of coffee always brewing,,,it has those old wood floors that are oiled and have that distinctive smell, and creak when you walk on them.

The counters are low and flat on top so you can see all over the store(like the old variety stores) and around the edges there are shelves and drawers, and counters with glass fronts and tops. There are apothocary jars with neat candy... the cash register is a fancy one with all the pretty metal scroll work, none of those scanners for you....

...there are those cast iron decorative things with the sharp hooks on them that you have to store the orders on..You have another cast iron decorative piece that holds your roll of paper that you wrap things with.

There are stairs in the back that take you to a mezzanine that goes all around the store..and you can look down and see everything."
