Some cast Iron frying pans that were my grandmothers. Also an old, old, cast iron bean pot, the kind with little legs on it so it won't sit on a burner, It has a bail for hanging it in a fireplace, I don't cook in it but it sits on my counter with utensils in it.

I have a roasting pan that was my Mom's. I'm not sure how old it is, but I love that thing. It cooks great and I have many happy memories of Mom cooking in it.:-)

I HAVE LOST MY FAVORITE POTS IN THE MOVE HERE. MY OLDEST AND FAVORITE WAS A LARGE RED IRON POT. I MADE SOUP, STEWS, CANDY,AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN IT. IT WAS HEAVY BUT NOTHING BURNED IN IT.

My oldest pots are a set of Revere Ware that was given to me for a wedding present by the people I worked with. There were originally 4 pieces but now there are only the 2 skillets and the small sauce pan. It was only a few years ago that I burned up the medium sized sauce pan. These pans have been used constantly for 56 years. Surely, the best present I ever received.

I also have an old set of Revere wear. Very good stuff, A few years ago I bought a new set of it. It's NOT the same. The new stuff is so light weight, Not nearly as nice as the old.

I HAVE AN OLD OLD NESCO ELECTRIC ROASTER. IT STILL WORKS BUT I AM AFRAID OF THE CORD. I HAVE SEVERAL CAST IRON SKILLETS OF MY MOMS AND ONE FROM MY GRANDMOM. MAKES BEST CORNBREAD.

I think it is a 1 qt sauce pan. It has the teflon coating.(that's not right. The other coating they first came out with.) I'm having a senior moment. Can't remember what it's called . It probably is 30 + years.

I have a set I bought in 1982. I have always enjoyed it. I had a full set of cast iron, but some how lost the stew pans when we moved here 27 years ago. I still have 4 or 5 skillets and the dutch oven. I had a picture of a hummingbird & flowers painted on one of the skillets many years ago. It hangs by my front door.

I still use an iron skillet that my husband and I bought (1940). Turns out a tasty corn pone!

I got some cast iron skillets when I got married in 1973 along with some other pots and pans. I used the cast iron to cook in almost everyday till I retired from the kitchen a few years ago. I do bring them out every now and then to wipe off any rust that might appear. I also make sure they are well seasoned just in case they are called into action again...

"We try the new, wth SOME success, But find the OLD, to be the best.."
