Dad was wearing lipstick. Most of the men stationed in the Pacific in World War II
had these color photos made. He was in the Phillipines when the A-bombs were dropped.

Mom was sent on their trip to Old Mexico to keep her and Dad apart. Didn't work very well!

She waited till us boys were gone from home to get her cherished French Provincial Furniture.




Taken after Beverly's marriage to Ron. Now it looks like 19th century posing.

Mom and Dad's Graves
They are buried in Hawley Cemetary on the Tres Palacios River in Matagorda County, Texas.



She died from Colon Cancer. She delayed getting the diagnosis. She died in 1977.
He died from a firey explosion in Moab, Utah in 1981 while on vacation.
