We had a little old man who was probably in his late 70's or early 80's. I don't remember the reason what he was admitted to the hospital. He was somewhat confused and disoriented most of the time.

One day the PCA (aide) came up to the desk and asked if any of us had seen Mr X. lately. Of course none of us had not seen him in the last half hour. She said that she gave him an enema and left his siderails down so he could go to the bathroom. Sure enough he was gone but he would not be hard to find.

Ever so many feet we found "evidence" of where he had been. We just followed the brown brick road which lead down the hall to the some benches at the end of the hall.

There he sat. "Oh good. You came to help me to clean up. Why don't you have bathrooms in the rooms? I finally found this one"
