Day-After-Thanksgiving Casserole |
1 can (4 ounces) chopped mushrooms, drained 2 cups cubed cooked turkey 3/4 cup cream of chicken or mushroom soup, undiluted 2 cups mashed potatoes 6 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons butter or margarine,melted 1/4 up soft bread crumbs Combine mushrooms, turkey and soup. Place in a greased 8-inch square pan. Combine potatoes and 3 tablespoons cheese; cover turkey with mixture. Pour melted butter over top; sprinkle with crumbs mixed with remaining cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
