Hints

A few weeks back I went to a meeting of some long lost cousins that I never knew existed. One of them is a chef with a local restaurant in a town a few miles from here. She gave me this hint. It works.

To ANY cake mix add the following:
1 cup of mayonaise
1 cup of water
3 eggs
Do not add the oil and liquid and eggs that the cake mix directs. The above ingredients are a subsititute. Bake the cake in the pans and at the temperature and time as on the package directions. Your cake will rise higher and be three times as moist. I baked a cake this way and it was moist to the last slice one and a half weeks later.
