October 1, 2000 First leg to Branson Ok a short clip of first leg of trip to Branson. Started out on Monday the 11th stopped at motel in Pa. we decided for fun to call Barb and see where they where. She was laughing and said"in restraurant ,eating. staying at H. J. in # in same town as we were. same motel, next door to them. Met them at rest. and Barb and Vi and I started the reunion early in room.LOL. Not planned to meet. Needless to say we laughed at ourselves . Next night we were in Indiana , Vi's brother came to motel and took us to breakfast and toured the country side, of my old stomping grounds. Vi and I took a tour of a state park in area , TURKEY RUN State Park, ws to see the suspension bridge we as kids played on, but 70 steps down to it, NO WAY. Funny I don't remember steps as a kid. that evening had dinner with my brothers and several in family. returned to motel and visited for a while with one of my brothers and nieces and Sil's. Next morning started for Branson, A fit of laughing before first cup of coffee. spilled coffee and Vi dropped recorder and batteries rolled under car then the sight of two crazy women backing car to get batteries from under and returning to parking site, Well that started the trip on a laugh note . On to Branson. Thurs. evening More later
