dollar store

There are a lot of dollar stores in the area, and a Big Lots. I like to go to them. Usually for cards but always have to look. My grandson Eddie loves the $ stores. When he was around 4, I would pick him and Nicole up and go out. I always asked them what they wanted to do, and Eddie always asked to go to the $ store. One day I asked and I told him I knew where he wanted to go and he said how did I know. I told him I could see dollar signs in his eyes and and when his eyes blinked it showed big dollar signs.

Anyway, one day I went to visit them, and Eddie came over to me and started to whisper in my ear, and my son Ed, told him,not to ask Grammie for anything. Ed thought I spoiled them by always taking them out to get something, whether it was ice cream or whatever. Little Eddie told his Dad, he wasn't asking for anything. Eddie was sitting next to me, and after a minute he took his hand and turned my face down toward him, I thought he was going to hug me, but instead, he said to me, "Gwammie, look at my eyes." and he was blinking them at me. I of course burst out laughing. and we went to the dollar store.

Even Ed laughed at that. Little Eddie now 12, knew how to get around me. When he was 3, he told me I was his vewy best fwiend. Sorry this is so long, but you all know me. I just love to talk. Think I have been alone too long, haha.
