Hospital Bed

YES LEE, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT THE CIRCULAR BED. WE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE ON THEM, REMEMBER A COUPLE OF YOUNG MEN, ONE IN PARTICULAR WAS ON IT FOR 6 MONTHS. HE WAS A PARAPALEGIC, NO ONE TO CARE FOR HIM. LIVED IN HIS CAR, WHEN THEY BROUGHT HIM IN, HE HAD BED SORES, SO SEVERE, HE PRACTICALLY HAD NO BOTTOM. WAS COVERED WITH MAGGOTS, IT WAS HORRIBLE, I ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS BEAUTIFUL BIG BLUE EYES AND LONG BLACK EYELASHES. SUCH A NICE YOUNG MAN. THEY DID SO MANY SKIN GRAFTS BUT THEY JUST WOULD NOT TAKE. FINALLY THEY TOOK SKIN FROM A PIG, AND USED THAT, HE FINALLY WAS ABLE TO LEAVE THE HOSPITAL, BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHERE HE WENT. VEL YOU REMEMBER HIM. I THINK YOU ADMITTED HIM. RIGHT? LEE, WITH EVERY STORY YOU TELL, IT USUALLY BRINGS BACK MEMORIES TO ME. I THINK NURSING IS ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSIONS IN THE WORLD. AS LONG AS YOU LIKE PEOPLE AND ARE CARING, NO JUST FOR THE MONEY, I HAVE SEEN SOME PRETTY BAD NURSES OVER THE YEARS. JUST AS NASTY AS CAN BE, I REMEMBER SEVERAL OF THEM, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER WORKING IN A PRISON FOR WOMEN. <>
