Guess What?

I'll bet it is pretty. I hope we get some snow, at least for Christmas. I love it to snow cause it seems like everyone is happy, or at least are more friendly. Guess it is because everyone has the same problem that day. stuck cars, shoveling sidewalks, just a slippin and a sliddin' but they seem to enjoy it no matter what. Even if it is a blizzard, people all have to stay home with their families and even the kids don't mind, and when you look out the window, and everything is so quiet, just the street lights sort of glowing within the snow falling. everything looks so peaceful and serene. A beautiful sight sent from heaven. I have always loved snow.
Sammy, I guess it is hard when you are isolated, but when it snows here I do have houses on both sides of me, but the closest store is about 1 1/2 miles from me. Too long of a walk for me, even on a good day. Sometimes I don't go out for a full week even when I had a car. Hate shopping as you know, Only time I would go to the store is when I run out of coffee and coffeemate, oh and detergent, lol, and that is the only reason. I just like the feeling I get when it snows. Peaceful, give people an excuse not to go out, I feel sorry for the people who have to drive in it, or miss work because of it, but it give you chance to collect your thoughts and find out what is important and not. It is like God puts a hold on us, in order to reflect on our lives. I even love the rain.It always relaxes me. When I worked at the hospital, I was within walking distance. haha. about 5 blocks. Never had an excuse not to go to work and I knew there were always some who just could not come. I loved to walk in the snow, especially when it was still snowing. my gosh, here I am writing another chapter. I was going to write more, but this is too long as it is. I love to reminice. Guess tha is why I alwlays tell my kids to make memories for themselves and their children so when you get old you appreciate the little things. Have a nice day.
Most of our group were moaning and groaning about the new snow fall. Vi put a totally different spin on the conversation with her lovly imagery.
