| I sure do remember most of them. Had to listen to the music since I
never paid much attention to titles. Danced to many of them. I remember
Bill Haley's band. They used to play at a local bar in our town every
summer. Boy that was fun. The whole town would rock. haha. Back then all
the local clubs would have live music. The town was small but depended
on summer tourists to survive. When i was young we had 37 bars in town,
then some closed but still had about 30 when I was married. Most of them
were down by the bay. Our neighboring town was Ocean City which was a
well know family resort and in the summer all the shore towns would
triple in population. OC is a dry town, so you can imagine how our
little town would expand in the evenings. Talk about crowds, wall to
wall people. Now I think there are only about 15 restaurants/bars in
town.
