1/2 cup softened Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 & 1/2 cups mashed Ripe Bananas
1 & 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Cocoa
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla; beat until thorougly mixed. Blend in the bananas. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture, blending well. Divide the batter into two equal parts. Add cocoa to one half; spread into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Spoon the remaining batter on top and spread with a knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until bars test done. Cool. Cut into bars. |
