PUMPKIN BROWNIES

Ingredients

1/2 cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2/3 cup Pumpkin
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/3 cup Cocoa
1 cup Flour

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Beat until light and fluffly. Add pumpkin and mix well. Sift together remaining ingredients and add to pumpkin mix. Spread in a greased 8x8 inch pan. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 40 minutes. Cool and frost.

Frosting:
2 cups Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp Milk
1/3 cup Cocoa
1/2 cup Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
Mix all ingredients, beat until fluffy. Spread on cooled brownies.
