PECAN CHOCOLATE CHIP
POUND CAKE

Ingredients

2 & 3/4 cups Sugar

1 & 1/4 cups softened Butter

5 Eggs

1 tsp Almond Extract

3 cups All Purpose Flour

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/4 tsp Salt

1 cup Milk

1 cup Mini-Semisweet Chocolate Chips

1 cup chopped Pecans

Preparation

In large mixing bowl, beat sugar, butter, eggs and almond extract on low just until mixed. Beat on high for five minutes. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. On low speed, add flour mixture alternating with milk to butter mixture, just until blended. Fold in chips. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Carefully pour batter over pecans. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool 20 minutes before moving to wire rack to cool completely.
