BUTTERMILK PECAN PIE

Ingredients

1 stick softened Butter

2 cups Sugar

3 large Eggs

2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/4 tsp Salt

3 tbsp All Purpose Flour

1 cup Buttermilk

1 cup chopped Pecans

9 inch unbaked Pie Shell

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In large bowl, beat butter at medium speed until light. Gradually add sugar, mixing until fluffy. Add eggs, beating just to blend. Beat in vanilla and salt. At low speed, add the flour, then the buttermilk. Sprinkle the pecans onto the bottom of the in an even layer. Ladle the buttermilk mixture carefully over the pecans. Bake the pie for 1 & 1/2 hours, until "pick" comes out clean. Cool completely before slicing.
