Walpurgis-9's Instructions For Bouncing MSNTV E-Mails And Newsgroup Posts
Have you ever seen a graphic or heard a soundfile on an email or on a newsgroup post that you would love to transload to your own files? You can obtain the URL of such files by BOUNCING the e-mail or the post.
These are the instructions for bouncing e-mails:
- When you are on the email you want to bounce, click onto "Forward" on your e-mail sidebar.
- Key in your own address (or another Webtv address you might want to send the bounced e-mail to) in the "To:" line of the e-mail screen.
- Arrow down to "SUBJECT" line and delete everything in the line. Hit the "RETURN" key.
- Hit the"RETURN" key two more times.
- Hit the "alt" key at the same time you hit the "b" key. ™ should appear.
- Hit the "cmd" key at the same time you hit the "a" key. This will highlight the ™.
- Hit the "cmd" key at the same time you hit the "x" key.
- Arrow up to the "SUBJECT" line. Hit the "cmd" key at the same time you hit the "v" key. The ™ will appear and drop down two lines within the "SUBJECT" area.
- Arrow down to the "SEND" button and click onto it. When the email arrives in your inbox, you will see all of the codes and the file URL's.
Instructions For Bouncing Newsgroup Posts
- When you are on the newsgroup post you want to bounce, hit the "SEND" key on your keyboard.
- Hit the "FORWARD" button on the popup screen. It will take you to your e-mail account.
- Key in your own address (or another Webtv address you might want to send the bounced e-mail to) in the "To:" line of the e-mail screen.
- Arrow down to "SUBJECT" line and delete everything in the line. Hit the "RETURN" key.
- Hit the"RETURN" key two more times.
- Hit the "alt" key at the same time you hit the "b" key. ™ should appear.
- Hit the "cmd" key at the same time you hit the "a" key. This will highlight the ™.
- Hit the "cmd" key at the same time you hit the "x" key.
