The first step is finding the image you want to add to your scrapbook. There are many sites on the web where you can find the image you want. The image must be in the GIF or JPG format.

Many sites have click on links to a screen that displays only the image. Those are the easiest to add to a scrapbook. When the image is on the screen, hit the "go to" key. When the pop-up comes up, arrow down to "show current" and click onto it. The URL of the image will appear in the pop-up. To save this URL for use with the transloader, hit the "cmd" and the "a" keys at the same time. This will highlight the URL in the pop-up. The next step is to hit the "cmd" and the "c" keys at the same time. If you have done this correctly, you will hear a faint clicking sound.

Now, you can take this URL to any scrapbook uploader and paste it into the "source URL" line. You do this by placing the cursor on that line and hitting the "cmd" and the "v" keys at the same time. This will fill in the "source URL" line with the URL of the image you want in your scrapbook. The wording may be different on the various transloaders (i.e. "file to be uploaded", etc.), but it is not difficult to figure out where to paste the URL for uploading.

Owens4 Tools has among its many tools a scrapbook uploader. To use this scraploader, go to http://owens4.com/tools.html. Click onto the option "Transloaders". That will move you down the page to their transloaders. Scroll down the page until you come to "Upload To Your MSNTV Scrapbook". Fill in the URL of the image you wish to have in your scrapbook. Then, click onto the "Upload" button. A pop-up will appear on your screen. It will inform you that you are about to add an image to your scrapbook and ask if you wish to continue. It will give you the options: "Continue" or "Cancel". If you do not want the image in your scrapbook, click onto "Cancel". If you want the image in your scrapbook, click onto "Continue". It will then take you to your scrapbook.

NOTE: If you put Owens4 Tools on F-key, the URL of the image will be filled in for you when you hit the F-key to which it is assigned.

To use Draac.com's Scrapbook Uploader, go to http://draac.com/webtvuploader.html. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Fill in the URL of the graphic you wish to have in your scrapbook in the text line and click onto the "Upload" button. A pop-up will appear on your screen. It will inform you that you are about to add an image to your scrapbook and ask if you wish to continue. It will give you the options: "Continue" or "Cancel". If you do not want the image in your scrapbook, click onto "Cancel". If you want the image in your scrapbook, click onto "Continue". It will then take you to your scrapbook.

My Scrapbook Uploader has easy to follow instructions on the page: http://d21c.com/walpurgis9/help/uploader.html. Like the other uploaders, you simply fill in the URL in the text line and click onto the "Upload To Scrapbook" button. A pop-up will appear on your screen informing you that you are about to add an image to your webtv scrapbook and asking if you wish to "Cancel" or "Continue". If you wish to add the image to your scrapbook, you should click onto "Continue". It will then take you to your scrapbook.

With this tool, you can extract the "source" codes, the image and sound URL's from a webpage. To use this tool, go to http://www.morfeen.com/SV/SiteViewer.cgi. It will take you to a page with three options: View Source (This will show you all of the HTML codes used to make the page); View Images (This will show all of the images on a webpage.); or View Sound (This will give you the URL's of sound files used on the webpage.). Click onto the "View Images" button. Make certain that the page URL is filled in the text line above the button.

This will take you to a screen with all of the images from the page displayed. Above the image, will be the URL of that image. (You can click onto that to go to a screen where only the image is displayed.) There will be two yellow buttons beside the URL. One, the "Upload It" button, is to upload it to your account on a server other than Webtv. The other, the "Upload To Scrapbook", is the one you would click onto to put an image in your scrapbook. A pop-up will appear on the screen notifying you that you are about to add an image to your WebTV scrapbook. It will give you the options "Cancel" or "Continue". Click onto "Continue" to add the image to your scrapbook. When this is done, you will be taken to your "Scrapbook."

NOTE: If you have F-keyed CapnFila's Source/Image/Sound Viewer, the URL of the page will be filled in when you hit the F-key to which it is assigned..
