Through tunnels and fire I have been Time after time and time again. I have seen what no eyes could believe; What mortal minds could not conceive. I have seen The Beast from Earth's molten core Whose hands were drenched with human gore. I have seen the demons rising up from Hell To destroy the Heaven from which they fell. I have seen the war that destroyed the Earth: The war to which mankind gave birth. I have seen the false gods eternally chained, The blood from their bodies forever drained. I have seen The Devil in my dreams, A beautiful sight for all it seems; A wonderful creature in velvety black With eyes of fire that stare right back. I have seen the demons who ride the wind On moonless nights that never end. I envy them: it's what I hope to be On that glorious day Death comes for me.
