NOWHERE REALLY, USA

Everyone remembers the interesting things about their school days: playground gossip, rampant speculation about what fellow students or teachers were up to off campus, why So-and-So got sent to the principal or expelled from school, or any other thing you heard or thought that in retrospect was certainly exaggerated or simply not true. The following pages are a recollection of just such nonsense that went on during my school days growing up in small-town America.

I want to dedicate these pages to the memory of my very dear friend, Barbara Ann Kelly to whom I told many of these stories. I hope you, the reader, find them as amusing as she did.
